Clients & Segments Object Configuration

Lightning Page Layout


Components to use for the page layout:

  1. Client/Market Focus Header
  2. Relationship Summary. Title = Client Team
    • You can filter the relationship types shown here, pick and choose exactly what relationship information to display via the check box menu, etc.
  3. Vision List
  4. Objectives List. Title = Client Objective Plan
  5. Client/Market Focus – Additional Information (OnePlace)
  6. Activities
  7. Tabs
    • Development Plan: Contact Relationship Plan
    • Notes: Notes
    • Key Documents: Files
  8. Tabs
    • Related List: Single – Companies
    • Details: Record Detail
  9. Report Chart: choose C&S Financial Summary report and filter by Clients & Segments: ID (the filter will mean only the financials for the record you’re in will display)
  10. Report Chart: Clients & Markets Financials (to display financials for all clients included in the Clients & Segments object/key client programme/etc)


Creating new Company Segments

Company Segments are used to display financial information in the Clients & Segments object for clients with an account plan. Each company within a client group needs its own Company Segment. Follow the instructions below to add a new Company Segment record:

  1. Click the App Launcher icon in the top left of the screen:
  2. Click on Company Segments to open the Company Segments object
  3. Click on New in the top right of the screen
  4. In the Client/Market Segment field search for the Client Plan you will attach this Company Segment to
  5. In the Account field, search for the client record you want to add to the Client Plan
  6. Click Save
  7. In the Clients & Segments tab, search for or click into the Client Plan record that you just added the Company Segment to
  8. Refresh the Client Financial Summary chart to pull in financial data for the client record you just added the new Company Segment for.
