Contact Type does not save correctly when title is blank.

Problem

When you try and save contact with no job title, then the Contact type is set to "Individual / Private Client"

 

Solution

OnePlace allows the recording of Contact Types to be both manual and automatic.

Your administrator needs to make a change to allow manual contact types to allow these changes to save.

Steps to be performed by administrator

  1. Goto Setup > Develop > Custom Settings
  2. Click Manage next to the Options custom setting
  3. Click Edit
  4. Tick the setting Allow Manual Contact Type
  5. Click Save
