Sandbox refresh process

To update a OnePlace sandbox, you can follow the same process prescribed by Salesforce.

  2. Create a Sandbox

As a reminder for OnePlace users:

  • Single Sign-on will not work in a Sandbox (unless specially setup)
  • All user names for users will changed with a suffix including the sandbox name i.e. timmy@tester.com.Sandbox1
  • Email addresses for all users will no longer work, your administrator will need to update users who require logins to the new sandbox environment. 
  • DBAmp connections user credentials to the Sandbox environment will need to be refreshed (Update DBAmp username and password). The process requires you to know the username in the sandbox (see above), the password of the user + a new security token for the sandbox environment (Reset Your Security Token).
